Dad Of 4 Girls Tweets Conversations With His Daughters, And It’s Impossible Not To Laugh At Them
Dad Creates Hilarious Viral Video Documenting His First Year of Fatherhood
As mothers, it can be difficult to leave our newborns in someone else's hands, even if those hands happen to be your husband's. But rest assured, Eric Bruce, of Minneapolis, has this parenting thing down pat—and he has the video to prove it.
The video, which has gone viral, features the father and son lip-syncing to everything from Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River" to famous clips from Harry Potter andHook.
Bruce came up with the creative idea when his wife Priscilla, who works evenings and weekends, had to return to her job about six weeks after Jack's birth. While his wife was away, the doting dad filmed these hilarious clips to update his wife on what was going on back at home. But that wasn't the only reason why Bruce created the videos.
"It was a little glimpse into the past year of raising a baby and having good times together," the YouTube sensation told TODAY. "I had a blast, and it's a great way to bond with him and learn how to be a dad and what to do with a baby when you're alone with [them] for the day."
Baby Jack was born on December 6, 2014, and unfortunately had to spend a week in the hospital after birth for a minor surgery, which made returning to work six weeks later that much harder for Priscilla.
